Australian security strengthened as part of Exercise Austral Shield

SUVA — The Australian Defence Force (ADF) has bolstered security cooperation with Fiji as part of the ongoing Exercise Austral Shield, a series of drills designed to enhance regional stability and operational readiness in the Pacific.

The exercise focuses on strengthening bilateral defense ties through integrated training scenarios, including maritime security, disaster response, and logistics coordination. Australian personnel are working alongside their Fijian counterparts to refine tactical maneuvers and deepen interoperability between the two nations' armed forces.
