Torrential storms kill two and leave one missing in Catalonia

Torrential rain caused widespread flooding across Catalonia, killing two people in Tordera and Montornès del Vallès and leaving one person missing near Pineda. Authorities issued emergency alerts, restricted travel in several counties and warned of dangerous river levels, while transport and power services were disrupted.
